So, I got tagged in a fun game that I didn’t even know I was playing! 😀 VivaLaViolette tagged me in a fun Photo Tag Game.

The goal is to post the 4th picture saved on your computer. Well, since our computer crashed a few months ago, I lost all my pictures, and refuse to save anything other than product pictures on here. So, I went to my USB Drive.

This is David and I a few months after we got together in high school. This is 5 1/2 years ago. We were going to some stupid school function that neither of us really wanted to go to, but it gave us an excuse to dress up and go out. I remember this night all too well.

Of course, David looks almost the exact same. His hair is a bit different now, thank goodness. O me, how I have changed. Of course, I had a kid and put on a bit of weight. Not to mention my hair has definitely been cut since then. Haha. Wow. This is too funny to me. Yea. That was us in high school.

Snow and store

It is that time of the month and I am in a cranky mood. Hahaha.

1. It snowed last night! I was talking to my insanely genius neighbor/professor this morning and he said that 2 years ago it snowed on March 1st, last year is snowed on March 3rd, and this year on March 1st again. We only get about one snow a year around here, and apparently they have been consistent recently. Funny, eh? We played in it and here is a cute pic.

3. Started new birth control today. Bleh. Yay for no more babies! 😀

If procrastination were a sport, I’d be an All-Star athlete.

Yes, ’tis true, I am playing the procrastination game again. You know, the game where no one wins.

It’s sad I know this and continue to do it. Hm.

I feel the economic crisis if finally starting to hit Etsy a bit. Sales are down a bit. Poop.

However, this does not mean that I have not been creating like mad! I need to get to posting these cute new items soon!!

In other news, I ordered one of my favorite Etsy items in a while last night. I love VivaLaViolette‘s stuff so much I can’t stand it. I bought a suuuuper cute Valentine’s Day card from her about a month or so ago, and last night I bought a PDF file of a CUTE bluebird stationary set. I’ve been printing a playing for a few now and you should all go do the same!!!

In other other news, I procrastinated earlier today by planning parts of our Las Vegas trip that is taking place in only 3 weeks. Yea. 3 weeks. From tomorrow. Yikes!!

Also, I’m going with David’s mom this evening to see Umdabu dancers. She found half-naked dancing African men appealing. Lol. I love this woman.

Ok. I really have a super boring paper to complete.

A nutso weekend past, and busy week ahead

So, this weekend was Lily’s birthday extravaganza. Let’s just say that I’m more worn out than she is. I’m fixing to call it an early night, fa sho.

Lily’s cupcakes that were discussed last post were amazing. I made beet chocolate cupcakes and no one knew they were not red velvet. LOL. It was fun feeding everyone stealthy healthy food.

This week is probably going to be nuts, but in a much less fun way. I really don’t even want to think about it.

Anyway, my eyes are drooping; I’m going to bed.

My Baby’s Birthday

Today is my baby Lily’s birthday. One year. It’s nuts.

She’s actually sleeping in today, hahaha as if she knows it’s her birthday. We’re having a party tonight at my grandmother’s house for my family. Saturday we’re having a party for our friends. Laura is coming in and I’m hella excited. Sunday will be the party for David’s family. This kid get’s 3 parties. Spoiled already. Haha.

So. I’ll be making Bug’s cake from a cookbook my mother bought me yesterday. A cookbook that I’m sure you’ve all probably at least heard about.

I will be making her cake with either pureed beets or avocado. I will definitely be returning to tell you how it goes, as well as have pictures of my perfect little princess’ big day.
